INTRODUCTION

My name is Leonardo Quispe and I am 24 years old. I started Openhearted because I believe everyone deserves a safe space to talk and feel heard without judgment. While working at a recuperative care facility in Los Angeles, supporting individuals facing health challenges and homelessness or housing insecurity, I discovered how meaningful it can be to simply listen and be there for someone going through a difficult time.

With long wait times and high therapy costs, I wanted to create a more accessible and affordable space for supportive conversations. Openhearted offers a listening ear, with appointments available within a few days. As a bilingual listener, I welcome conversations that help people feel heard, understood, and less alone.
